Friends Homes has implemented a Grant Program to help support the mission. The mission of Friends Homes: Guided by Quaker values, Friends Homes offers a Life Plan Community that encourages a sense of wholeness, wellness, purpose and security at a fair cost, so that each resident may live a fulfilling life. With those guidelines, the grant is one of many ways we can make our mission a way of life for those who desire to live at Friends Homes but may need some financial assistance to meet requirements.
Communicating with the sales team at Friends Homes is a great place to start the process. A perspective resident can gain information about current availability on the Guilford campus and begin the application process. Along with the application, each request is handled on a case-by-case basis and includes assessing individual living needs and availability of financial resources.
Our spacious studio apartments and one-bedroom apartments are available to tour and allows the perspective applicant a chance to see the housing options. Conveniently located, residents are encouraged to take advantage of all the amenities offered at the Guilford and West campus. Our newly redesigned wellness center offers state-of-the-art equipment and many activities to participate in. Dining options are abundant on each campus, allowing for a variety of food offering.
Each of the program participants remain confidential and include the peace of mind of a lifestyle of care and comfort. Our goal is to allow the ability to live life independently, while surrounded by a caring community. We are fortunate to offer this program to aid in the gap in affordable independent living, and we look forward to expanding our efforts in the future.
