Fostering Independence, Wholeness, Health and Security
Friends Homes is dedicated to empowering each resident to realize his or her full potential.
Founded by the North Carolina Yearly Meeting of the Society of Friends (Quakers) in 1958, Friends Homes is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to meeting the needs of adults age 62 and over. In keeping with Quaker principles, Friends Homes provides, at a reasonable cost, an environment that fosters independence and a sense of wholeness, health, and security so that each resident may realize his or her full potential. On our Greensboro campus, residents enjoy the freedom of independent living as well as the peace of mind that comes with having access to assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care available right here.
It is important to note that Friends Homes welcomes people of all faiths, beliefs, and traditions. You do not have to be Quaker to live here. In addition, we are dedicated to the letter and spirit of the Equal Housing Opportunity Act. In our friendly, welcoming community, residents and staff enjoy a wonderful spirit of camaraderie, cooperation, and support. We invite you to visit us and see for yourself.
