Friends Homes will kick off the season in style with its annual Fall Harvest Festival, a joyful celebration packed with food, fun and plenty of friendly faces. Residents, Residents of the Future and team members will all come together in the Wellness Center courtyard for a day that shows off everything that makes this community so special.
The courtyard will be alive with laughter and cheers as neighbors try their hand at corn hole, line up to dunk a team member in the dunking booth and sway along to live music from Penny Candy, a beloved favorite band of many residents.
When it comes to food, the Friends Homes dining team will pull out all the stops. Guests will enjoy chili cheese corn dogs, pretzel bites, BBQ chicken and waffle nachos and the show-stealing chocolate-dipped bacon-wrapped Oreos.
Fall décor will round out the scene, giving everyone the perfect spot to snap photos and soak up the autumn magic.
“This will be a wonderful opportunity for new team members like me, along with new residents and Residents of the Future, to really experience the excitement this community has to offer,” said Addison Davis, Events and Catering Coordinator.
The festival will be a true team effort. Sales and Marketing will make sure Residents of the Future feel welcomed and included, the Campus Life team will bring the activities to life and the Dining team will wow everyone with creative treats. Together, they will create an unforgettable day that highlights the warmth and energy of Friends Homes.
Beyond the games, goodies and music, the Fall Harvest Festival will give Residents of the Future a real glimpse of life at Friends Homes. They will meet the team, mingle with soon-to-be neighbors and get a taste of the vibrant lifestyle waiting for them. For new residents, it will be a chance to mix, mingle and make connections that turn neighbors into lifelong friends.
